  Most importantly- food is delicious!! We have tried a few things- all great. Our go to is crispy basil chicken. We get it every time! Staff is so friendly, place is clean, food is quick, prices for portion size is really good, lots of parking. Haven't gotten to have it yet, but lunch specials look very enticing! One of our favorite spots in Santee!!

  Everything was good the only thing is I got the larb spice level 8 but it wasn’t spicy at all it was good though other than that it was good I will be back

  My husband and I figured after our 7th visit to this place that we should leave a review. This is hands down the best Thai food I’ve had in San Diego. Super fresh, flavorful, good menu variety, generous portions, and the owners are extremely kind and hospitable. We go here almost every week and I’ve catered them one time for a party and it was a hit. I come here when I need a comfort food pick me up. Love Gen Thai

  Picked up a takeout order. Used the app. Ordering was very easy. Good was done quickly and the app gave me the time it would be ready. The food was delicious- veggies were fresh, with just a bit of crunch but not raw. Beef in my noodle dish was tender and flavorful. Both my soup and entree were piping hot, even after the trip home. I can’t wait to go back and try more.

  Gen Thai Street Food hits that casual Thai craving without trying too hard. The flavors were bold—sweet, spicy, and a little oily, but in a satisfying way. Portions were solid. It’s a small, laid-back spot, not super polished. Service was friendly, a bit slow when busy. Good choice when you want something quick and flavorful.
