- EWErica Warren3 days ago1.0Just coming home empty handed because I ordered a lot of canned goods to donate to a shelter for pickup. The pickup slot was for 8-9pm and I placed the order at 3pm. It is now 11:30pm in the rain and I entered the store to see where my order was and they said they had it but could not give it to me because they don’t have the “code” to get into the system. They said the lady left at 11 that talked to me so they had no idea why she would have asked me to come. The lady who was there offered me to return as early as 4am to “see if it changes” in the system and when they are there. The thing is I ordered this for charity on most of the items and even called at 8pm (there was about an hour gap of any movement from the shopping happening) asking if there was an issue since I added so many cans and if there was a cap they could return whatever was over in quantity. The lady said “oh no I’m working on it now and it should be ready by 11”… hints why we went late. I stayed up later to pick up those items when I work at 6am. Overall, horrible experience this time around- I hope to get my items tomorrow since it is $300 worth but if not, definitely never shopping Vons any longer. I will just commit to my local Costco if that is the case.

- RMRon MNov 7, 20255.0This is a nice location of the large chain of grocery stores. Vons is now owned by Albertsons whose primary shareholder is a big Wall Street investment company. So you are in no way shopping local if you shop here. That being said, I find the produce very good. I don't buy much meat so I can't comment on that. The dairy product are always fresh and what you expect in a big grocery store. You can probably save money going somewhere else but at Vons I find I can get everything in one stop and the quality is good. You do need to join their club in order to get better prices.

- SGShannon GOct 26, 20253.0I wish they would do something about the scammers who hang out in the parking lot, and in front of the doors, harassing customers. Just this evening there were two men standing on either side of the only open door trying to sell candy to people as they entered & exited the store. They weren’t part of a charity or anything, just reselling candy. They would approach people from both sides, essentially cornering them as they entered and exited the store. There was a security guard inside who didn’t do or say anything to them. When I told them no they made rude remarks as I walked away. Did not feel safe at all.
