I went to this place for breakfast and asked if they had any dairy-free options. For reference, I have long hair and so I look like I’m trans. The old, short dude with white hair instantly snapped at me and said “No!” He didn't even try to find anything or ask anyone if there were dairy-free options. So i had to step out of line and ChatGPT if there were dairy-free options. Turns out like half the menu of bagels is dairy-free and they even have vegan options. So then I had to go back in the line and an older lady took my order and the employees changed their gloves and tried to avoid allergens for me. Then the dude wouldn’t even make eye contact with me the entire rest of the time I was in the store because he knew what he did was wrong and just didn’t care. That’s not how you treat people, whether they’re white, black, brown, gay, straight, or even trans. Everyone should be treated the same. I’m going to make sure I never spend my money at this business ever again.
