  Perla truly went above and beyond. I had a bad situation at a different location, but when I came to Santee, she made everything so much better. She took the time to help, turned the experience around, and made me want to keep coming back as a regular customer. Great customer service like that really stands out.

  I really wanted to like this place because the food can be good when it’s right — but ordering online has been consistently frustrating. About 75% of the time, I either receive something completely different from what I ordered or I’m told after the fact that they “don’t have” an item that was clearly available on the online ordering system. If an item isn’t available, it shouldn’t be listed as available. It’s disappointing to place an order, pay for it, and then end up with substitutions I didn’t ask for or missing items altogether. It feels disorganized and makes it hard to rely on this restaurant when planning a meal. Accuracy and communication matter, especially for online orders. Until they fix their ordering system and inventory management, I can’t confidently recommend ordering from here.
