This location is incredibly busy as its an inexpensive food and drink option in a very busy area. However, there are lots of seating here and the staff is very efficient in getting your orders.. we ended up taking our food to go as it was busy and there are lots of "non-customers" in here off the street. Food was good and served quick. Good inexpensive food option in a pricey Santa Monica Pier area. We did not know but, there is free parking available for McDonald's customers within the building.

The food is good but the service is a little bit slow. You see this place is still under construction. It looks like an abandoned building and there was a drunk person who tried to kidnap my child. If you are choosing McDonalds for dinner then don’t go to this place and choose a different one. Also forgot to mention they don’t do refills on your drinks.

Life-threatening poison cocktail: Why you should stop eating at McDonald’s Potatoes, frying oil, and salt: That's all it takes to make fries – actually. Because what fast-food giant McDonald's mixes into its fries has much more in common with a setup in a test lab than with delicious, crispy fried potato sticks.
Tertiary butylhydroquinone, polydimethylsiloxane, and disodium hydrogen phosphate – the list of ingredients in French fries is long. A total of 12 additives "refine" McDonald's fries. The shocking thing is that each of these additives is permitted in Germany, but in many cases, higher doses have worrying side effects.
Additive number one: tertiary butylhydroquinone. An antioxidant used in the USA, among other things, for the production of biodiesel. The silicone polydimethylsiloxane is used for safety reasons, according to McDonald's. It's supposed to protect against boiling frying oil overflowing. In reality, it actually protects against sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted offspring. Polydimethylsiloxane is also used to lubricate condoms and as an ingredient in pharmaceuticals. Another component of fries is dextrose. It gives the potato sticks their bright yellow color. Consumed in high doses, dextrose can lead to allergic reactions and osteoporosis.
Unfortunate news for vegans: McDonald's French fries are anything but vegan. While fries used to be fried in beef tallow, this loss of flavor is now compensated for by adding natural beef flavoring. French fries are not only full of additives, but also full of fat. They are pre-fried, flash-frozen, and fried again. And ultimately, at 510 kcal per (large) serving, they pack a serious punch. A healthy diet doesn't look like that.
The ingredients for McDonald's fries:
Potatoes
Canola oil
Soybean oil
Hydrogenated soybean oil
Natural beef flavor
Citric acid
Dextrose
Disodium hydrogen phosphate
Salt
Tertiary butylhydroquinone
Corn germ oil
Polydimethylsiloxane
