I was just at Vons and the girl has and ear bud in her ear and more interested in her phone than providing a service. I paid with a bill bill and didn't bother to count the money back to me. She was too busy talking to a co worker. I have years of experience in customer service and it just seems to not be a priority anymore.

I always look at it thinking it needs some rehab or remodel. Staff is very friendly someone to work others are looking to hide. You have to run after some stuff to ask a question. One member I asked and said they'd be right back only to come to find out they went to lunch. Not to say that all are bad what monster good. Good produce area Fair Valley area. He got to ask the right person.
- VPvivienne pattersonSep 21, 20252.0I have been going to this store since it had once been " Williams Brothers"...so I have seen the changes...I have noticed alot of empty product which is unfortunate...My biggest Gripe is the Customer Service...especially the young people...you go through the line and their is NO EYE CONTACT, NO GREETING,NO NOTHING!!!...A Robot would do a better job...one time one gal was slumped on a stool,or looking on their phone....do you not have meetings on Customer Service or is it a thing of the past???...It's tough enough that grocery prices are high,let alone going through the checkout line with Rude checkers...my second gripe is what's up with NO ROTISSERIE CHICKENS?...last three times there has been none...just today I called the Deli first to ask if they'd have some...it was about 1:00 pm,and this is the response I got" WELL WHEN I CAN GET A PLUMBER MAYBE I CAN HAVE CHICKENS?!!!" Huh?...her Tone was not appreciated....the last time the excuse was she was the only one working and didn't have help...I don't mean to be a " KAREN "...but it's so sad to see this store lose its Sparkle...I've been coming here for over 30,probably more years and it clearly is drowning...I worked in grocery for twenty years,..18 with Luckys then 2 with Albertsons when it changed over....our customer service was very much a priority...I even got snapped at after asking a older worker in produce for asking a question..I won't name names...I was horrified...I will commend two people that should get awards for great customer service....Everyone loves Calvin...everyone leaves his line with a smile on their faces,I actually wait in a longer line to go through his checking line than the other checkers who are just plain rude and miserable ...Moi is the only other that always has a smile on his face and even though he's swamped in " Price Changes" he's always eager to help...ok..I'm done with my Rant...Do Better
