In my own experience, the customer service is pretty top notch and the atmosphere is quite friendly overall nowadays, contrary to the reputation it used to have years back and just now giving the place a second chance years later after a few recent visits.
I would be wary though of homeless in front at late night and pre-dawn hours asking for food. Like a deer, if you give in once, they’ll never stop asking. Definitely be sure to have a club account too so you can get some meaningful discounts here and there. Lastly, most perishables are usually well-rotated, but definitely still check the expiration dates on food as per usual!

Tonight we went to shop at this store, at 9:24pm as we were looking for a check out line to get into, the female cashier(?) in a neon yellow safety vest in Register 5 was full left hand deep scratching her butt. It looked like she was handling the money while talking to the security guard. Once I saw that we went to Register 6, that's when I decided to look at my phone to check out the time so any manager or supervisor could look up the video of this. This individual should not be working at a grocery store handling people's food or money. This was beyond disgusting and should be corrected immediately. She also had no regard for her coworker, she told him she was going to come back without asking if he needed help. I believe she was going towards the produce section. Other details to describe this individual is that she has long oily dark hair and had whitish long acrylic nails.
