- BSBev StrandApr 19, 20262.0This place is SO dirty, both inside and out. The glass on the counters, doors and windows were filthy. The tables had. It been wiped of in a while. Used containers were in the floor and even a tattered cushion was outside. If I hadn’t been so hungry I would have left. The staff was not well trained and the food was OK. It gives Chipotle a bad name. I won’t go back.

That one employee who I think was named Ashley was extremely kind and friendly and made me feel like I was at home. I will definitely be coming back as it was the best Chipotle experience I have ever had and will be telling all my friends and family about this wonderful location. Kudos to the employee Ashley and the wonderful team she works with.

- DDDMar 11, 20261.0The district needs to pay attention to who they're hiring because whoever's the manager is at this River Street Santa Cruz Chipotle location is clearly not doing their job well. The staff is all poorly trained and seems as if they're being instructed to intentionally give below a normal portion size. You can see each worker carefully and nervously staring at the serving spoon as they're using it and trying to intentionally give half a scoop of everything at best, scraping bits and pieces into your bowl. When you politely ask them if you can get a appropriate portion size like they're supposed to give you they act like you caught them red-handed. You see things online about Chipotle skimping you but it's just so interesting seeing it in right in front of your eyes. I don't recall the capitola location doing that so much although I haven't been there in a while. Don't waste your money here.
