I personally witnessed two females push a cart full of groceries straight out of the store without paying. Another individual scanned all of his items at self-checkout and then simply walked out without paying while the employee assigned to monitor self-checkout was on the phone gossiping. I called the store to report what I saw, and the female who answered in customer service said there was “literally nothing they can do.” She admitted they are aware of the issue and sounded completely lethargic and uninterested. I asked whether SCPD had been contacted and received no response. I then asked to speak with the manager, Sonia, and was given the runaround. When I was finally transferred, I was placed on hold indefinitely. This location is being severely mismanaged. Corporate should absolutely review what is going on here. Employees need to take more pride in their work, because the lack of accountability is blatant and unacceptable. 👎🏼👎🏼 DON’T GO HERE!!
