My family has been going to various Mastros locations for years, and this location does not disappoint. George is amazing and always ensures we are well cared for. He goes above and beyond each and every time we visit. He provides the best service, period. Would highly recommend Mastros and dining with George any chance you get.

First time at this location. While the live music was questionable (Britney Spears covers??), the bone in fillet is as perfect a ever. Fillet, garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini and a glass of wine ) they pour HEAVY). The perfect meal

I had a horrible first experience at this restaurant. Me, my sister, and sister in law came into the restaurant and went straight to the bar. We have 3 different people ask to look at our ids and you can tell they were profiling us. It was an awkward and embarrassing moment for all us. Me and my sister aren’t from California, so I understand the ID situation but to talk about us in our face as if we aren’t right there is just rude.

Has dinner at Mastro’s steakhouse, Valley Fair. Food was very nice. The seafood tower has a nice selection of seafood. The bone-in ribeye tastes pretty good. Their signature warm butter cake is always good and tasty. We dine in a private room and service was pretty good. Overall, experience is good and having it near the mall is an added advantage for parking.

If not the top, probably one of the top three steakhouses in the South Bay located at the Valley Fair Mall.
I usually freak at this place if I decide to go on a date, or have a friend's birthday dinner. The steaks are cooked usually too perfection as I can see and the sides and the soups are also really damn good.
Main thing is the ambience here. Depending if you look for something really lively, you would want to hang out downstairs by the bar or eat at any of the tables by the bar because they have a piano player there playing live music and it's a bit more lively.
If you want something more cozy and intimate, you'll want to book your table upstairs as it's a little bit more luxurious up there and the ambiance is a bit more suited for putting a ring on it. 😂
