The menu has hits and misses. We really enjoyed the Dry Chilli Paneer, which was flavorful. However, the Kala Khatta Mojito was disappointing; it tasted quite artificial. The Triple Schezwan Noodles with Manchurian were decent (3.5/5), and while the Premium Rajasthani Thali looked impressive, I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. We enjoyed the Rabadi Ghevar, which was surprisingly well-balanced and not overly sweet.Across the board, the food felt very greasy and heavy, making it a bit tough on the stomach.
The portions are massive, which explains the higher price point. As a party of two, we ended up taking most of our meal home in to-go boxes. The aesthetic is great, but the noise level is extremely high. If you are seated on opposite sides of a table, it is nearly impossible to hold a conversation.
Pro-Tip: I would highly recommend coming here in a group so you can actually sample a variety of dishes without being overwhelmed. If you're a duo, stick to ordering just one or two items!

The staff seemed to be still settling in, as table allocation took some time despite availability, and the seating arrangement for two adults and a child with a high chair felt a bit tight for multiple dishes.
Service was quick, and the waiter was honest and helpful with her suggestions.
The food was average for the price — the kachories could have been crispier, the tamarind chutney was quite sweet tasted like sugar syrup, and the Indo-Chinese dish had a slightly unusual flavor, possibly due to slightly over-burnt garlic. The ambience felt a bit busy and noisy at times, making conversations a little difficult.
That said, the restaurant has a pleasant setup and good potential, and with some improvements in service and food quality, it could offer a much better experience.

Had a fantastic Rajasthani meal at Garam Mirchi. Decor and ambience instantly transport you to Rajasthan - warm, colorful, and super inviting. Ker Sangri was incredibly unique, kachori chaat packed with flavor, and the unlimited thali gave the perfect taste of home-style cooking 🍽️. Loved the paan drink + aam panna too 🥭 - such a fun, authentic experience overall! Highly recommend 🙏
I’m not vegetarian, so I usually don’t seek out vegetarian restaurants. but my visit to New Rajasthani Restaurant in Santa Clara completely changed my perspective.
The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. Every dish tasted fresh and homemade, and you can really tell they put care into their cooking. I didn’t miss meat at all. the variety and richness of the vegetarian dishes were more than satisfying.
The service was warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere made the experience even better. Whether you’re vegetarian or not, this place is definitely worth trying. I’ll definitely be coming back

I want to start with saying when I came out of the restaurant the first thought I had was - I’m never going back here again
Let’s start with the staff
There was a girl waiting our table who did not give us time to decide what we want to eat. Just standing there waiting for us to order. She looked very disinterested ! In between they even took the high chair away without asking if we were done with it. Last but not the least my child really liked the churma. I had saved some for her in my plate but she had slept so I wanted to take it and requested for a to go box. The response - “I don’t have that size box”. You could’ve just given the smallest box you had! This was the main lady who sits in the front to receive people. Very cold behavior!
Second the food .
Don’t take the thali! Forget unlimited I couldn’t even finish the first serving of the thali. The only good thing was the dal bhati churma and the ghatte ki sabji . The halwa smelled of reused oil, the kachori tasted rancid , paneer was so hard in the sabji, too much saffron in the shrikhand that it almost tasted like medicine, the rice had no seasoning. This is the pic of the thali at the end of my meal. You can even see the bowl of churma. The only thing I had a second serving of was the dal for bhati and the churma.
Oh the gratuity is a joke ! We were 4 adults and 2 toddlers and they considered us a large party of 5 or more and charged us a 18% gratuity. For what joy you dint have to do anything for the kids! Are you kidding me ?!
This place even has a parking issue and took us a long time to find parking. After all that struggle to find parking and this kind of treatment and food - we all left very disheartened.
If you go here maybe try the Chinese. Definitely not the thali.
