  One thing that is great about franchise chains like McDonald's is, so far, from Eastern Long Island, NY to Santa Barbara, CA - the chain never fails with its consistency of products. As in, a Big Mac is a Big Mac no matter where in the continental United States you are. Except some establishments have McDonald's branded "after-dinner mints!" Lol! Santa Barbara McDonald's is one of very few fast food chains in the county/city and one of literally three establishments open late night. The food is superior to some of the other establishments I've been to, yet fitting in conformity to the expectations such a great company is known to have. Though you will be on the higher side of the McDonald's pricing guide here but nothing like other venues such as Broadyway NYC McDonald's. It can get a bit busy around meal times as it is one of few fast foods in the city but thats okay as the staff are rather quick with food preparation and seemingly are staffed more during these busy peak hours. I highly recommend you get breakfast while you can from here in Santa Barbara - this particular McDonalds really cooks their breakfast items extremely well! Lunch has been very good as well, the restaurant and bathrooms are usually extremely clean though the one downside is there are almost always homeless individuals that are drawn to the spot for pan-handling, I think one man literally lives on the bench out front. While there is nothing staff can do about the situation - I only mention it to make buyers understand they may be solicited for spare change on this visit but it's worth it in my opinion. Besides a little charity can only help! ** This McDonald's recognizes the "free-refill" on your morning coffee - albeit once but hey, a fill-up on the way out the door isnt a thing to complain about! Plenty of seating and space for you and your family but you will be hard-pressed finding an outlet to charge your phone like other locations due to the disenfranchised in the viciinty.   Worst McNuggets ive ever ate, overcooked dry, no juice no taste! Packed in a bag instead of box for some reason.
