- 2L2bearbear Tom LimFeb 19, 20264.0For lunch, we had Chipotle, just to reminisce the first “Tex-Mex” or Americanised-Mexican food that M had brought Tom to years ago. This time, we ordered the bowl with Carnitas ($11.5) with Guacamole ($2.95) which came up to $16 inclusive of taxes. It was really tasty with the fresh ingredients. So how it goes is that you’ll choose between white or brown rice (Tom chose brown) and then the beans (Tom chose both), then the meat (Tom chose Carnitas – slow cooked seasoned shredded pork) and the vegetables (Tom chose everything including the Guac for additional $2.95). The combination made the bowl really tasty with fresh flavours from the ingredients of onions, tomatoes, lettuce, guacamole and slow cooked flavours from the meat and the beans. Shiok. The portions are way below standard, barely any protein, skimpy toppings, and definitely not what you’re paying for. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was a one-off, but nope…same issue every time. On top of that, the customer service is awful!
