This was the worst koobideh and joojeh I’ve had in the U.S. The koobideh was yellow inside, probably because they used too much turmeric. It was salty and didn’t smell like koobideh at all. The rice was plain kateh, ugly, with extremely poor presentation and no saffron. I don’t understand why there was so much oil pooled under the koobideh. The joojeh also tasted like it had been marinated at the very last minute. For an Iranian who truly knows Iranian food, even giving this meal a score of one would be too generous.
