  Clam chowder on a rainy day Consistent reliable place to bring like your parents or someone with a stroller. I've never had a bad experience here, just some visits are better than others

  This place has really gone downhill and I’m realizing the manager is part of the problem. Let me start by saying that everyone who works there is SO nice . Grace , Lisa , and even the manager. My last few visits have gotten worse each time and today was the finale. The place is nearly empty at 3pm. I order a salad with grilled chicken . 20 minutes in and still no salad, and no people either . I assume the grilled chicken is the hold up. The salad finally comes with no chicken. Lettuce , parm , dressing and crotons 20 minutes plus later. Lisa is sweet about it and says they will remake it. The salad comes out and the chicken is undercooked because they were of course trying to rush it. She takes it back but at this point I just want to leave so I ask for a salad the way it first came out without the chicken because it’s getting ridiculous, and there is some build up from the previous visits. She comes out with the same salad that had under cooked chicken on it. Beyond frustrated I just go up and ask for a refund . The manager just types it in and gives the refund. No concern over what happened, on her watch no less! The appropriate thing to do is at least apologize, and say “ we’re going to get this right, please stay and let us fix this “. This is not the first time I’ve dealt with her during a chaotic debacle and I’m realizing she is the problem as their leader. As nice as everyone is , it’s just not good anymore. The quality of food and the service (nice ) but completely inadequate.
