Had an awesome dinner at the Outback in San Marcos. I ordered the Bloomin’ Chicken Sammie with a side salad, and it was seriously good — perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. What really made the visit memorable was our server, Ritchie. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about every table he was serving. It’s rare to see someone put that much heart into their work, and it made the whole experience feel welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.

Seating tucked a bit, but that happens, no biggie. Blooming Onion was limp and salty as the sea. Steak was great, but the knives were crap. It grabbed and dragged my meat, not sliced through it. Blooming Chicjen left much to be desired. It was small, bland, and depressing to look at. I think they need to up the savings on the sides also. Tiny scoop of potatoes was boring and made my plate look empty.

Great experience. Delicious food, great vibe and dining experience. We had the Delmonico steak which was cooked a perfect medium rare, a sirloin steak with ribs, and ribeye with shrimp. Enjoyed all of them. Sides were delicious too. Grant is an awesome server. I love when our drinks are always kept full. And Daisy is a really awesome hostess who went out of her way to make our night :) We will be back soon.

We decided on Outback for our family's Easter gathering. It was a last minute decision due to family health issues. The food was terrible. My salad arrived with the entrees and it was inedible because the lettuce was wilted and bad. The steaks were mealy and barely edible. Our server only checked on us once and she didn’t offer anything other than "I'll let the kitchen know" when I told her the salad was inedible. Our family of 4 was very disappointed and we left feeling like our patronage was unappreciated and unimportant.

I am a pt Uber driver and have driven a server here to work several times. She recommended I come in for the lunch specials and speakeasy. So I did.
I’m a huge women’s basketball fan and came in 4-5 times to watch the NCAA tournament games. For the first 4 times I was welcomed and I had a great time ordering food and drinks! The staff was amazing! I felt welcomed and was super excited to find a place to watch sports and have steak & tuna ahi appetizer! Each time I tipped 18-20% to reward the rad experience.
Unfortunately, when I came into the bar today to watch the NCAAW final game, I felt unwelcomed, ignored and discriminated against. I’m sad. I just moved to San Marcos in Sept and had hoped I found a place to hang out for sports and a beer.
Sadly, the mgr on duty and the bartender did not care about my patronage. I still tipped 18% cuz if I didn’t, it would be said that Black people don’t tip.
Disappointing.
