  Mobile order, get told to park in front bc they are waiting for “hashbrown” waited and waited as mobile orders came and gone. Attendant came to the car to ask if we were waiting for mobile order and then we gave her our order stating drive thru told us to wait and she came back a few minutes later to ask for our receipt! Get it together! We just sat here watching cars coming and going bc we ordered one deluxe breakfast and McGriddle that can’t seem to make their way to our car! Terrible service, have someone more competent work the last pick up window bc she was so dismissive no wonder they don’t know what’s going on!

  McDonald’s in San Marcos is exactly what McDonald’s is supposed to be. No Michelin stars, no nonsense — just straight junk food doing its job. I pull up, grab my usual nuggets, and boom, instant childhood nostalgia. Crispy, salty, dangerous in large quantities… perfect. Milkshakes here are actually legit. Thick, cold, and hit the spot every time. And I don’t care what the Starbucks fanboys say — McDonald’s coffee is low-key better. Hot, strong, no attitude, no barista judging your existence. Just coffee. Respect. And the ice cream cones… wow. Simple, cheap, classic. Something about that vanilla cone just fixes your mood immediately. No drama, no overthinking. Overall, it’s McDonald’s. It’s not health food, it’s not luxury, but it’s reliable, fast, and always there when you need that guilty pleasure fix.
