  This is a spot y’all must visit. It’s soooo yummy! Even though cava has just opened their San Marcos location, they’ve really hit the floor running and I am so proud of them. Today I went in and was helped by George, he did a great job and every one was super nice, upbeat, friendly and encouraging. Overall great place, great environment, the works.

  The food was really good, I had never tried something like that before and the variety available when making a bowl is amazing. The employees are really kind and helpful throughout the whole process. Also I really liked the outdoor area, and the place looks very clean.

  Gotta say, I have never had the experience that I have gotten here anywhere. Oscar is the GOAT, I was having a bad day, and even a couple minutes before closing Oscar was super happy to serve me. He not only was hyped up for every selection I made, but also attentive and genuine. His energy honestly made me have a better night and when the falafels were out he gave me a discount on my order to compensate. I truly appreciate Oscars attitude and his demeanor I think he deserves a raise or a step increase. Thanks, -Mark Germundson

  I ordered a kid’s pita from this Cava half an hour ago and I specifically asked for falafel. They told me they didn’t have any falafel and asked if I wanted anything else instead. I said NO. The employee decided it would be a smart idea to add something extra to my order even though I never gave them permission or consent. The employee put brussel sprouts in the order, which my son is severely allergic too. Since I was unaware of this, my son ended up eating the meal and immediately started having an allergic reaction. I called 911 and now he’s at the hospital. Do not go to Cava because the employees will put whatever they want to put in the order WITHOUT your permission and if you have allergies, it can kill you. They don’t care about your health or safety. I will be reporting them for this incident.

  I want to start by saying that almost everything about this place was excellent. The food was great, the atmosphere was nice, and most of the staff were friendly and professional. However, I had a really disappointing interaction with one employee named Roby that I feel I need to mention. When I asked if they had picked onions, he simply said "we don't have them" in a dismissive tone. When I politely asked if he could check in the back, he visibly rolled his eyes before going to get them. His entire demeanor made it clear he didn't want to be there and was acting like someone was forcing him to do his job. Customer service matters, and while I understand everyone has off days, the eye-rolling and attitude were unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable for simply asking a reasonable question.
