  I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at the Wendy’s on McKee Road in San Jose. We were paying customers and ordered burgers, and we also politely asked about the March Madness free Frosty and fries promotion. Instead of being treated respectfully, the staff gave us a very unfriendly attitude, as if we were trying to take advantage of something for free. In the end, we only received a melted Frosty and did not receive the fries at all. What made this situation especially upsetting was that the group behind us — a few young customers — simply asked for the free promotion and were given it without any issue. This made us feel that we were treated differently, which came across as unfair and potentially discriminatory. If a location chooses not to participate in a promotion, that should be communicated clearly and respectfully — not by treating customers poorly, especially those who are already making a purchase. This experience reflects very poorly on customer service at this location. I hope management takes this seriously and makes improvements.

  It’s obvious they’re not even trying. Bad burger, not worth the money, was no service - not sure you even rate that there. Wendy’s has gone downhill a lot over the last 15 years.

  Im sick of customer service like I received at this location. I promise there are people who would love to have your job. You have to practically argue to get your food....if you're new to the city, don't think you'll be accepted

  I ordered a baconator and fries, the number 2. I had water instead of soda. That didn't save me much over a cost of the full meal and the size of the water was small... Kidsize even. The burger tasted ok. It wasn't impressive in any way except the bun was pillowy soft. The fries were average and a bit starchy tasting. I didn't even finish the fries. They were dull. Nothing about my visit made me want to go back there anytime soon. Average rating, but nothing spectacular.
