On 3 separate occasions we were sold, via store pickup or in person shopping, expired products. Two were dairy products, which I understand have shorter shelf lives, but I discovered today, as I was making Thanksgiving dinner, that the instant yeast I was going to use for dinner rolls, and had bought from this location less than two weeks ago, was expired as of May 2025. Even so I tested to see if it would work and it was truly expired. This Safeway needs to work a bit harder at ensuring they are selling fresh products.
