- GBG B2 days ago1.0My God this Safeway ruined my day. There is so much negative energy coming from all the Hispanic female clerks. First, i went to the hot food section too buy some chicken tenders.The male clerk couldn't even speak english,I had to basically use sign language too get what i wanted. He used the same utensils to grab my items, and couldn't even seal my bags. I had to do it for him. I proceeded to the liquor section, grabbed some mix cocktails, and proceeded to the one and only check out that was open. Now to the very rude Hispanic lady clerks. After standing in line for 15min watching three clerks standing around talking in Spanish, I decided to ask one of them why is there only one checker open. She said maybe in five minutes. I replied I'm almost in the front now. She rudely told me maybe 20 minutes more then, and walk away. After paying I walk over to look at her name (Margil) tag, for this review. That's when another clerk came behind me and attempted to block me from seeing her name tag, falsely accusing me of yelling at her people. I told her that I was only asking for her name, at that point the second lady started humiliating me making a big seen telling me to leave. This is the worst Safeway in California that I've ever been too. Those Hispanic clerks are rude and lazy. They come off as if they think they are superior to customers. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SAFEWAY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR DAY RUINED!!!! STAY AWAY!!!
