A guy was screaming profanities in the corner while staff stared into the void, and the place had all the charm of a bus station at 2 a.m. I asked the cashier (grumpy, tactless gentleman) a simple question: “What toys do you have for the Happy Meals?” You’d think I asked for his kidneys. He cut me off mid-sentence and blew me off before I could even say I was planning to buy the meals. So I left and went to the McDonald’s down the street, where — shocker — they told me what toys they had, I bought them, and everyone lived happily ever after. Congrats to this location for actively sending business to competitors. Stellar strategy. I’m sure the owners appreciate this.
