We came here to celebrate a birthday and left quite disappointed for several reasons. The service, the long wait for food and the lack of a birthday recognition all equate to a bad experience. We've been to other locations before and had good luck, so we decided to try this location out. Arriving a little after 7pm on a Sunday night, our server greeted us promptly and took our order shortly afterwards. Nearly 30 minutes elapsed before our food arrived. With the food on the table we quicky realized that the food was beyond overcooked. Two of the dinners were on the verge of being inedible. It was too late to send them back, fearing it would take another 30 minutes. After eating dinner we looked forward to at least celebrating a birthday with a quick song and some attention. This was not to be, as the server quickly dropped off the birthday dessert and walked away. No song, no fanfare, not even an apology. Hard to justify ever coming back to this location or even another Lazy Dog.

Utter fail aside from being seated quickly. All the food was severely overcooked, the wait for burnt food was excessively long, no check in from the waitress until we had somehow choked down most of the meal, and I'm reacting to the gluten sensitive entree right now. ☹️ The worst of it was that we came to celebrate my veteran friend's birthday. She never leaves home without her service dog, so seemed like an appropriate restaurant choice. Asked if they did anything for bdays, yes. Advised the waitress 3 times that it was her birthday, nothing. However a few tables away, they were serenaded and brought a bday dessert which added insult to injury. Thankfully her meal came with a dessert or I'd have been asking for the manager vs leaving this review. She had to remind the waitress her meal came with the dessert! If you're looking for charcoal instead of bacon, empty extra crunchy fries, or a completely dried out piece of salmon that isn't so gluten friendly you will find that here. The only thing really edible was the bday girl's burger, thank goodness! No idea how this place gets such high reviews as this is my 3rd, and final visit, over the course of many months in which the experience has been much the same. Very disappointing. Not going back and not recommended.

When this place opened a friend gave me a $50 gift card. Lazydog had a special, buy 5 for $50 of the frozen dinners and get 1 free. I bought the chicken potpies and turkey dinners. All were delicious. Fast forward, I received another 2 gift cards both totaling $110. I ordered 6 of the potpies, 3 turkey, and 3 of the spinach enchiladas. The first potpie was little to no crust and 1/4 of the size from the previous time I had it. The second potpie was really good, nice crust on top. Third potpie was horrible like the first. Chicken hard and chewy, no crust, and very little. I then took the tops off of the remaining 3 in the freezer, and they all look like no crust and only 1/4 the amount they were originally. Turkey dinner was sooooo salty! I couldn't finish it. Spinach enchilada, YUCK! Also very salty, rice ended up like eating rocks, dessert made me gag. Threw the whole thing away. Makes me really upset that $110 was just pissed away on such horrible food. We'll never go back again. I also let my friends know to please never give us gift cards from Lazydog again.

My husband and I have been here several times since it opened and normally service is great. However, last night was not quite the same. Dexter served us at the bar and when he approached us he tossed the coasters in front of us like it was some dive bar, had this arrogance about him that made it uncomfortable. We ordeded the feta dip and asked if they could substitute the bread with their parmesan crisps. He took our order and we waited. About 20 min later he comes up to us to share that they can't make that accommodation. I responded with "they are just telling you now after we waited?" He said "yeah they are making a bunch of excuses". As we shared how annoying that was while we reviewed other things to choose from, Dexter then responded with an attitude and said "I'm trying to give you options" and I said "I understand that, I am going over those options". That response he gave in front of my husband is not okay. Imagine if he said that to another woman whose husband is not quite as patient? Needless to say, he seems combative and childish, it put me in a bad mood and I was tempted to find management and request a different bartender. Later we happened to glance at one another and he gave me the most sarcastic smile. Needless to say, I think he knew I wasn't happy with his service. He also never brought share plates or utensils for us and we had to wait some more while our food was in front of us until we were able to wave someone down. Having worked in the same industry for 14 years as a manager this would not fly. If you can't empathize with your customers when something goes wrong, you are in the wrong industry. The other two people working the bar were very friendly and polite, wish they had served us.

Overall the service was okay. My son and I came here to celebrate my birthday. There was no wait time so we were seated right away. While I was being shown to our table my son stayed back to ask the staff if they would sing happy birthday to me to which they said said yes (I didn't know about this until after we left). Our waitresses were okay they were both pleasant and very helpful with making menu selections. If I go back I would ask to substitute the Spanish Rice for White or Brown Rice in the Burrito Bowl because I hate peas. Otherwise everything we ordered was good. There were approximately four tables celebrating birthdays this night including ours and each table the waitstaff came and sang happy birthday to the birthday person, except for ours. Normally this wouldn't bother me. However because my son was trying to do something special for me on my birthday and it left him feeling disappointed and questioning: What did we do or not do? Do they pick and choose who they're going to sing to and who they're not going to sing to? Who makes that decision and why? And why would they sing to everyone but my mom? These were all the questions that I was asked after we left to which I had no answers. Sadly the vibe given was very selective and because of that we probably will not go back.
