There's not much to say about the ice cream itself. It's standard fare that you get anywhere. What sets apart this store is the service which is spotty at best. We live like 4 blocks from here and come to this store regularly. The service is usually good when it's someone but what appears to be the owner. The older gentleman is cranky at best and stingy at worst. The last time we were there, I asked for a large milkshake for my two kids hoping to split it between them. The guy refused to give me an extra plastic cup saying if he gives me one, he will have to charge me for 2 small milkshakes. I told him I will bring it home and split it and hope that's ok (I was being sarcastic). It didn't even register in him. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Our friend group orders from this place often (because it's the only place to get ice cream locally) for our weekly hangouts. The guy who owns it is always unpleasant when we pick it up in person but our most recent experience (tonight) was the worst so far. We ordered doordash for pick up, when my friend went in he was in an especially bad mood. He was making the wrong order, he waved a receipt around saying that was what he got from Doordash. My friend politely pointed out that it didn't match what we ordered and he got angry and told her if she didn't want what he was packing up, she could pay for a new order. She reminded him that we had already paid for the order and asked him to look at her door dash order on her phone but he refused and said he would be "taking a loss" by putting together what we actually ordered. We ordered 2 brownie sundaes, a 2 scoop sundae, and 2 scoops of ice cream. He tried to give us 2 pints of mystery ice cream, a single scoop of a flavor we didn't order and a 2 scoop that might have been the right flavors. He refused to fix it so we refused to take the ice cream. When Doordash called him he lied and said we took the ice cream with us and that we were demanding a separate order of ice cream for free. He also told us he didn't care about any of this because he's closing the store next year anyway (this BR gets a new owner every few years, I don't know what the deal is). I have no idea if we're gonna get our money back. We ended up ordering from a different Baskin Robbins on Blossom Hill and noticed that the scoop sizes were significantly bigger than the ones we usually get from this location. We always thought the scoops were really small on the sundaes but figured that must be the right size. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from this place again.
