  Food was terrible. I ordered one double cheeseburger. The taste was terrible and salty. No lettuce no tomato no nothing. Never be back. Waste of money

  I wanted to love this place, but experience didn't match the hype. Underwhelming service at the counter. Asked about extra onions and was advised that "no modifications" were permitted. Ordered the 3x3 jalapeno as I've been lacking protein in my life this week. Was pleased by the quantity of meat, the amount onions and jalapenos but flavor was lacking. I peaked inside the pilot o' meat and saw a gray lifeless blob. I dreamt of the perfectly charred meat and classic flavor. But my busy, end of class day dinner rush experience yielded no such pleasures. The bun fit the 3x3 okay but would have swallowed burgers with lesser patties.

  Rude and no customization on burger. This is discrimination against people with food allergies

  They have affordable $2 hamburgers. Service is supper fast, but it would be better if they reheat the burger / patty.

  I don’t think you’re going to find a cheaper burger or grilled cheese out there, at least in the Bay Area. Living up to their reputation. No frills, very simple and plain fare – recommend to do what we did, and take the burgers home, add your own toppings to elevate the food (tomatoes, avocado, onion, lettuce, etc.) The fries are a bit pricier than the burger menu but still par for the course for the BA. And scrumptious, too.
