  Walking into Baskin-Robbins, I didn’t expect to see just one worker handling everything—but that’s exactly what was happening. Jasmine was the only employee behind the counter, facing a long line of customers that didn’t seem to stop growing. She was doing it all: scooping ice cream, ringing people up, answering questions, and trying to keep things moving as fast as possible. You could tell she was working hard, but it was also clear she was overwhelmed. Her face was red, and she looked extremely tired, like she hadn’t had a moment to breathe, let alone take a break. Despite that, Jasmine stayed polite and kept going, doing her best to help everyone. Still, it didn’t feel right watching one person struggle to manage an entire store alone. No worker should have to handle that kind of pressure without backup. This isn’t a reflection on Jasmine—she was doing everything she could. It’s more about the lack of support. Having only one employee during a busy time isn’t fair to the worker or the customers. Jasmine deserved help and a chance to step away for even a few minutes. Overall, the experience showed how important proper staffing is. Jasmine did her best, but she shouldn’t have had to do it alone. 3 stars for the store. But if I was able to I would give this employee 5.
