  They have a great happy hour, highly recommend! Rainbow roll, oysters, sake, and carpaccio — all delicious. Victoria was our waitress, very nice and helpful

  I love the servers and host. They are so friendly and accommodating, but the manager is very rude. Maybe she is very stressed but that’s not her excuse to treat others disrespectfully. The food overall is fine but not as fresh as other sushi restaurants I have been to. Atmosphere is legit.

The sushi is consistently fresh, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared. Whether you’re going for classic rolls or more creative combinations, everything tastes clean and well-balanced without being overcomplicated. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the ingredients and the execution. What truly elevates this place, though, is the hospitality...especially Victoria. She is, without exaggeration, one of the most hospitable people I’ve encountered in any restaurant. Attentive without being intrusive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest has a great experience, she creates an atmosphere that feels both personal and relaxed. It’s the kind of service that turns a good meal into a memorable one. Tsunami Panhandle isn’t just a spot to grab sushi, it’s a place you’ll want to come back to again and again, not only for the food but for the people who make it feel special.

  My partner and I got sashimi, oysters, and a rainbow roll. She said the tuna on the roll tasted funny, and sure enough she spent the night vomiting every hour. Based other reviews this isn’t an isolated incident, they must not be taking proper precautions in the kitchen. The service and atmosphere were fine, but it’s not worth the risk to eat here.
