  Ordered delivery and it was the best Korean food in SF! They have some frozen ready-made entrees, too. I am excited to try. Owner is super sweet.

  I was really excited to try this. I will say that all of the veggies were very fresh, however, the sauce and the meat were not very tasty at all. The meat tasted like it had been cooked multiple hours ago and became very dry. In SF I think that you have to really compete and there are better options out there.. especially for the price.

  The Perfect Pit Stop in San Francisco Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After a long bike ride through the streets of San Francisco on a 75-degree day, I was looking for something to cool me down, and Matko absolutely delivered. The Drink: I grabbed a CLEAN Cause Sparkling Peach Yerba Mate from their well-stocked refrigerated section. It’s an organic energy drink that hits the spot if you want something crisp and refreshing without a heavy sugar crash. The peach flavor is subtle but definitely "on point" for a warm day. The Service: What really stood out was the hospitality. Even though I just bought the one can, the cashier went above and beyond: * They offered me a cup of ice for my Yerba Mate, complete with a lid and a straw. * They also provided a second cup of ice for my water (lid-free) to make sure I stayed hydrated. * The best part? All of this was included in the price of the drink. The Vibe: The shop has a great selection of "Flavors of Korea," including some cool BTS-themed coffees and unique snacks that I’ll definitely be back to try. There is also outdoor seating available, which is perfect for keeping an eye on your bike while you recharge. If you’re riding through the city and need a "coolant" and friendly service, stop by Matko. They know how to take care of their customers!

  Sadly, i have to agree with Faith and others posting one star. When my wife told the gentleman working the counter how flavorless and unappetizing our food was, we didnt recieve even as much as an i'm sorry or what can we do to improve. Why would anyone patronize a restaurant when the staff doesnt care about customer experience? We've enjoyed korean food both homemade and in Seoul, so we know what to expect, and we didnt get a taste of it at Matko.
