  As an Indian, I can tell you the food served at Kasa is the closest one can get to Indian food and in many ways, even better(esp catering to local tastes and style of eating as well) than what we get back in India! The spice levels were in right proportion which is not easy to achieve. It was our first time in san francisco and we ate here everyday - the thalis were wholesome and nutritionally balanced too! We also got to try their masala chai which undoubtedly is the best chai I had in SF this week! Will always come back to Kasa anytime we're here again :-) The staff were really nice and took care of our food preparation requests very well - we felt at home throughout! :-)

  I've been coming to Kasa since they opened on 18th Street years ago. My husband and I love all of their vegetarian options especially the Kati Rolls. We love supporting this locally woman owned South Asian business and highly recommend!

  We had dinner here tonight. You order at the counter. The service was good. The food was delicious. The prices are reasonable.

  ordered 2 lamb biriyanis takeout from here. I'm not exaggerating theres was 3 tiny pieces of lamb in the first one and even less in the second one. not to mention that it was dry and unflavorful. I usually hate writing bad reviews but all around bad experience. more than anything just felt like i payed for 2 big bowls of dry rice.
