Go somewhere else.
This Safeway treats you like a criminal. It’s one thing to lock up soap and other items, it’s another when an employee has to walk your items to the front and make you purchase them on the spot.
The produce is often rotten. Be sure to TRIPLE check any boxed items. They have an inventory of expired foods.
Just go to Trader Joe’s or any of the other local, non-chain grocery stores.

Some of the items that I was looking for were not in the store. The secret to successful retailing is to have the product on the shelf when the customer comes looking for it. Having it in the back room doesn't cut it.

No one comes when you press the help button to get access to things that really shouldn’t be locked up. What a waste of time

I shopped at the Safeway on Noriega today, and because I was not wearing my contacts, I was extra dependent on staff to navigate the store. Every staff member I asked for assistance was incredibly helpful and courteous. An extra big shoutout to my cashier, Vivian, who was extra careful while bagging my groceries and super friendly and sweet. Five stars all the way!
