Apparently all the Safeways in San Francisco are deciding to close about 10 minutes early these days and GARDAWORLD security are just straight mean and give you attitude as if you're causing them a problem by going to the store to shop. I got here at 11:52 and they close at 12:00. I need a cat litter because my cat is sick. This gardaworld security guard literally said "you had all day to come here and you just decided to bother us now." This is one of the few Safeways I haven't had a bad experience at until today. Whatever security you're hiring is not up to snuff or maybe management doesn't know that they're closing the store early lately. I just wasted about 2 hours coming out here and now going home. I've shopped at your store since the early 90s play I will stop doing so soon because you guys are wasting my time and effort and your security is just straight mean. It's literally adding insult to injury.

This location has a really bad problem with employees buying Pokemon cards from the vending machines while not on break. I’ve seen them leave their check stand to make purchases and then go right back to their check stand with the product and continue to work. Even if they happen to be on break this is such a limited product it should be left to customers. Stores I’ve worked for in the past have policies that if something is low inventory and in high demand employees are not allowed to buy on scheduled work days. Safeway should implement and enforce this policy. Seeing it be this loose makes me want to do all of my grocery shopping elsewhere.
