Leo was doing his job by putting items back in their proper places. Despite this, another employee loudly called him to the front and told him, “What are you doing? You need to be doing something,” even though he clearly was working. What made this worse was that the cashier Ana (working at register 3 around 5:16 PM) kept exchanging looks and laughing with another worker at register 5, as if it was funny to accuse Leo of not working. Their behavior felt like they were making fun of him, which was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I’m not sure if either of these employees is a manager, but this kind of treatment toward a coworker—especially one with a disability—is unacceptable. Leo deserved respect, not ridicule. I hope Safeway takes this seriously and ensures all employees are treated with dignity.

There is always security there to keep an eye on your car and you. And they roam the store as well so, don't hesitate to ask someone in uniform what aisle something is in.
