This Safeway is quite problematic, for one there is a lot of homeless in the area, I’ve personally been in a physical altercation after being randomly assaulted at this store by one of the homeless people. On top of that I’ve been approached and racially profiled by the security here, they told me I was not allowed in the store even though I’ve been shopping here for years without incident (other then when I was assaulted) luckily I was able to clear that up but the management was extremely condescending when addressing the situation and insinuated that I had done something wrong. So I’d just say be careful here, other then that it’s a standard safeway experience, high prices, dated interiors, no self checkout

Most times I come to this establishment, I leave disappointed. Products are stocked in a dizzying and overwhelming mosaic that places relevant healthy food in surprising locations between various specialty processed junk food. Sales advertised in the weekly ad rarely line up to products in the store, and sales advertised in the store frequently don’t register at checkout. Household items are locked up. Produce is usually extremely overpriced. Most products are generally low quality. I only come here because I live close by.

I love shopping at Safeway. Plus they have many other stores and quick bite places to satisfy your hunger on the same lot.

Safeway is a mainstay! A little grungy but you can find most of anything you’d want from a supermarket.
