Claude is by far the best cashier I have ever met. I had put in the wrong number for my rewards, and they quickly found someone to void the transaction for me. Super friendly and pleasant to talk to, even spoke Spanish to my parents. Super efficient and quick with helping us bag the groceries. They overheard that my partner and I were thirsty, and they reopened the in-store Starbucks so that we could have some water. Will definitely be back at this Safeway if there are more cashiers like Claude!

I bought green noodles at this store. When I decided to make something with the noodles I found they were not wheat free/gluten free. So, I came to market st/ church at location to return my purchase and buy something else that would work for my diet. I was told by an older Asian lady and some young Latin guy that this location has a 30 day return policy. But there is no policy on the receipt or on Safeways website, and Albertsons corp. Does not have an end date policy for non-parishable items. I would like Safeway to know I won't be shopping at your store until you make some changes to your stupid policies for which these retail level employees are capitalizing on. I am a good customer, I spent more money there not knowing how poor your customer service is with returning unusable items.

went to buy food , most spots either had abandoned carts or ppl in cars waiting , parked in online pick up , got my food , returned to find a $40 ticket from the "parking gestapo" .. in future ill park and run errands elsewhere , maybe go to the taco restaurant , or the Pilates spot or the crossfit gym or get my hair cut or .... as you see , punished for shopping in safeway not for leaving car to go elsewhere , at least that ticket would be more deserving

DO NOT GO IN HERE - THEY LOCK YOU IN This has never been my favorite Safeway, but I used to go in occasionally because it’s right at the end Judah and also it used to be a good place to get flowers. I don’t remember the last time I was in here maybe a year ago? Anyway, I went in and I couldn’t get out. To get in you have to go through turns Stiles. The turn Stiles turn in only One Direction. There is no exit to the store at all except through a checkout lane or the self checkout. And the self checkout has a gate you cannot get through the gate unless you show a receipt after buying something. This is no longer a store that you can browse. This is the store you have to get permission to leave if you have not bought something. It was totally freaky. Do not go in here.

This used to be my favorite Safeway in the city but not anymore. There's never any fried chicken breast and I've even complained to the manager. Even at the beginning of lunch time there's no chicken breast. No one even seemed to care. The lines are always long regardless of the time of day. Do not go to this store. Go to the one by the marina. Excellent store the fried chicken was cooked much better and they had breast meat! They have several cashier's available. Pleasantly surprised and I'll be going there regularly.
