Just because I use a walker and don't appear to be
80 yrs old doesn't mean that I'm a thief. I don't deserve to be treated like im filth on the bottom of the employees shoe either I'm a human being that deserves decency and respect especially when thats all I give in the first place even when i am treated like so. Employees need to stop assuming that every person that doesn't look like they have a never ending allowance is a bad person or that they must be a thief. You all probably don't care but when your actions cause affects to someone's self worth as a person sometimes bad things can happen. Please be kinder PLEASE!

So many aisles are locked away. It takes 10 min for staff to open anything. This is such bad customer experience.

Everything else about this Safeway is just normal and expected for a Safeway in general. The staff is fine, cleanliness is fine… The thing about this place that makes the grocer of last resort - I go to any other place that’s open and sells what I want before going here - is the checkout lines ALWAYS take FOREVER! There’s no time of day when I’ve had a good experience checking out at this Safeway. The nearby COSTCO is better in this regard. For whatever reason, and without fail, checking out at this Safeway location is always a slog. It’s not like this at any other Safeway I go to, by the way. I only pray that some general manager or regional manager reads these reviews and DOES something about this issue. I genuinely believe that you lose more in people shoplifting out of impatience and repelled customers than you would from self checkout shrinkage. Give it some thought.

I waited over 20 minutes by the locked liquor cabinet after four calls on the speaker. The lines are incredibly long with only three cashiers available. It feels severely understaffed. I ended up leaving my cart in aisle 3. Enter at your own risk—consider yourself warned! I’ll stick to Trader Joe’s where there are more employees and better customer service.
