This is a local owned sushi restaurant run by a Korean couple so some items off the hot menu are Korean inspired. I felt that the menu itself is a bit pricey, so this is a low 4. For the sashimi combo I received three slices of salmon, two hamachi, and three tuna. The cuts of sashimi were rather thick so I appreciated that. My favorite was the tuna followed by the hamachi. Perilla leaves were used for plating but I really enjoyed pairing it with the hamachi and tuna. I thought the wasabi and ginger were great quality and finished all my ginger. The goma-ae was simple and very bonito forward which I enjoyed. Lastly, the saba nigiri was okay, but perhaps I would get a different nigiri next time. The service was okay, nothing standout. Given that I sat at the counter and alone, I expected more conversation but we didn’t have many exchanges.
