  If you haven't been to Kasa, you're missing out! Tasty and filling, Kasa is a favorite go-to for lunches (with colleagues and friends) and dinners (with our 6yo). Be prepared to make some difficult choices among their delicious offerings. Pro tip--get a thali plate and enjoy even more.

  I’ve been coming to Kasa for years, which makes this especially disappointing. My recent experience was honestly awful. I ordered a samosa chaat and naan with masala — a very simple order that typically takes just a couple of minutes to prepare. Instead, I waited over 15 minutes while the employee behind the counter (Asian guy with glasses) moved at an unbelievably slow pace. I’ve genuinely never seen someone so inefficient in a quick-serve setting. When I finally received my food after 15 minutes, the naan didn’t include the masala I had ordered. When I pointed it out, the employee argued with me and insisted I was wrong until I literally showed him the photo of the item on the menu to prove it. That interaction alone was frustrating and unnecessary. To make matters worse, when I got home, I realized the samosa chaat had been made incorrectly, there was no chickpea sauce on it at all. It was completely wrong. Between the excessive wait time, arguing over a clearly listed menu item, and getting the order wrong twice, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had. Really disappointing from a place I’ve supported for years.

  The chicken tikka masala burrito was flavorful and perfectly spiced. Tender chicken, rich sauce, really enjoyed it!

  Kasa is an amazing option to consider for catering! They supported the Women’s Building Tax Clinic and had the order ready in a timely manner. The food was delicious and the volunteers really enjoyed it. The food stayed warm even hours after delivery. They are amazing neighbors and a spot worthy to try out if you are in the Castro!
