  They were open late and had a great atmosphere… the cheese steaks were some of the best I’ve had since I lived in Philly … I will be back

  I was the only person in Jake's when I ordered my sandwich at 11:51 am, yet I didn't get it until 12:21 pm -- a 30 minute wait for a cheesesteak! The cook was more interested in the soccer game on TV than serving customers. The sandwich was good, not great, but certainly not worth the wait. Disappointing.

  The restaurant is welcoming and comfortable. The employees are super friendly and helpful. It was like coming to a friend’s house and he loves to cook. The quality was great, food was delicious, served hot and fast. Will recommend and return when in the area.

  Born and raised and Philly and was super skeptical to try a cheesesteak in SF…. This place is legit! The steak, owner, and vibe were top notch. I’ll be back. Go Birds!

  10/10 cheesesteaks. The hoagie upgrade is an absolute must. The owner, Junior, is super friendly and always provides the best service. We come all the way from Santa Rosa to eat here.
