The decor was cozy, and woman who was host, server, and food runner was very kind and was doing her absolute best, but they must hire another front of house person, for both her sanity and the success of the business. DoorDash orders were a constant stream in and out, and they didn’t even serve us roti until the very end when we were about to just leave, all of our order came at once, clearly only after she had to prod the kitchen staff to rush the order. The food was well-prepared and yet an unremarkable experience because of the unacceptable wait for staple Indian food. My take is that unless they want to become a delivery-only business, they need to fix the front of house, and figure out how to prioritize dine-in guests in the kitchen. I definitely won’t be coming back for dinner, there are too many other spots who have the dining experience figured out. I wish the best for the kind woman doing the work of three people.
