  Omg I wish I can say the food was good but I never got the chance to eat anything except some garlic bread and a cocktail. I went there on 4/19/2026 I had dinner reservations at 6pm I arrived at 5pm to see if I can eat early that was not a issue, so after I was seated the waiter came to take my drink order. I ordered a water and a cocktail it was passion something with the name Tiki lol anyway, after my drink order was taken about 10 mins go by and I ordered my food. Salmon that comes with grilled shrimp rice and broccoli, so instead of rice I wanted mash potatoes and instead of grilled shrimp I wanted the shrimp fried which I was told it was okay I also ordered a basket of garlic bread. 25-30 mins go by and a waiter comes out with my food when she sat my plate on the table I noticed my shrimp was not fried so I informed her of the mistake, she took my plate and told me she will inform my waiter about the issue....Here is where they pissed me off after she took my plate I sat there for 30 whole mins I'm like it don't take that long just to give fried shrimp so I see a waiter at a register I tell him about my food issue he tells me he will check on it so I go back and sit down and again waited about 25 mins and no one came to me so I got up saw a different waiter and told him I was ready to go 55 mins and I have not ate so I told him how long I been waiting and i just wanna pay for my drink and garlic bread. While I was paying for the 2 items and as I was about to walk out the door I see my food coming, at that moment I was not interested i really felt like I was waiting for so long because I was alone and they was worried I was not gonna leave a tip but little do they know my tips are $20 and above but I never got the chance to eat the main course or any food items other than garlic bread. I know they get a lot of customers but I will not be eating here the service was terrible and I am upset I never got to eat anything so I settled for something else

  After viewing the Sea Lions, my husband and I decided to stop in and sit at the bar for a small bite. We shared their shrimp cocktail, which was 8 jumbo shrimp for $16! That's a deal! Back home, it'd be 4 jumbo shrimp. The bartender, Jose, was very kind and suggested landmarks we ought to see. My husband and I also tried their local brew on draft, which I forgot the name of, but it was very good. This restaurant has a beautiful view of the bay. :)

  This is a great spot if you’re looking for good food. I ordered the baby back ribs—the flavor was really good, but unfortunately they didn’t have much meat, which was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend ordering that particular dish. On a positive note, River, the cashier, was very nice and helpful!

  We had such a great experience at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and a huge part of that was our server, Katarina. From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made sure everything came out perfectly, checked in at just the right times, and had such a positive, upbeat energy that really elevated the whole dining experience. The food was great, but Katarina truly made the visit memorable. It’s not every day you come across someone who clearly enjoys what they do and goes the extra mile to make guests feel taken care of. Because of her, we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend and if you can, ask for Katarina!

  Our experience at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. at Fisherman’s Wharf was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, you can feel the charm and creativity inspired by the iconic film Forrest Gump—every detail, from the decor to the menu, brings that story to life in such a fun and immersive way. What truly made our visit unforgettable was our server, Jay. He delivered one of the most personalized dining experiences we’ve ever had—warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely engaging. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made us feel like more than just guests. It’s rare to come across service that leaves such a lasting impression. Thank you Jay and all the staff who truly made this experience outstanding. In fact, the experience was so outstanding that we returned the very next day—something we almost never do—simply because the food, atmosphere, and service were that good. And the setting? Absolutely breathtaking. The views overlooking the harbour are incredible, with constant activity from boats, playful sea life, and birds all around. Seeing Alcatraz Island in the distance, along with glimpses of the Golden Gate Bridge, made the entire experience feel even more special. If you’re visiting San Francisco, this is a must-stop destination—not just for the food, but for the full experience.
