  The store is usually very clean and well merchandised. It gets busy sometime but the employees are all very nice. I come here often but I have 1 complaint; can you PLEASE stop allowing people to sit outside the front doors to ask for petition signatures daily?! I can no longer go into the front door of the store without getting harassed to sign a petition about something. Can we stick to Girl Scout cookies and Salvation Army donations? I’ve been avoiding coming here lately because every single time I come someone is asking me to sign a petition about something else even following me out into the parking lot towards my car while I’m just trying to get my couple of items and leave. Please learn to tell people no, it’s driving away customers.

  I stepped into the Vons near Hillcrest the other day for a simple money order, and I left feeling quite struck by a lack of leadership. As someone who has spent over twenty-five years at the helm of hospitality, I understand that the "Customer Experience" is the heartbeat of any business. Unfortunately, that heart seemed to be skipping a beat during my visit. ​The African American gentleman assisting me was clearly having a difficult day, and he made certain that I, the customer, felt the full weight of his frustration. Even the security at the entrance appeared to find the simple act of a smile too heavy a burden to carry. I don’t necessarily fault the staff—I fault the management. When leadership fails to inspire pride and warmth, especially in our urban neighborhoods, they are simply clearing a path for A.I. to take over those roles entirely. People want to feel acknowledged and respected. We need real leaders in these stores, not just individuals waiting for a paycheck. ​I trust this feels more like your own hand, Sir. It carries the authority of a professional who knows exactly what is missing from the room.

  Parked to do some grocery shopping and grab something at a clothing store around the corner. Parked here, went to the clothing store first so the groceries/perishables wouldn't go bad. Went to buy groceries right after. In that 1 hour, the supervisor, Issac Cannon had my car tower. I was shopping in the grocery store when the car was towed. That supervisor, Issac Cannon, should be fired. Absolute trash store with a horrible manager. Don't go to this store. Don't deal with these people. It was $500 and 5 hours to get my car back because of his actions.
