  Food was really flavorful and delicious. We got the Saffron Chicken sandwich, a large pepperoni and BBQ wings. This was our 1st time here not expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised. Pizza was (actually) LARGE, sandwich was flavorful same for the perfectly double cooked wings. Pizza was really good as well and prices were good as well. They just got a new return customer.

  I had a really great experience at Saffron Pizza Kitchen in downtown San Diego. The food was fresh, flavorful, and different in a good way. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, especially in their unique pizzas with saffron flavors. Definitely a spot I would come back to and recommend.
