Morton's has gone way downhill
Probably a couple of years since last visit to this location
They no longer have valet parking (except for weekends)
They replaced the lump crab cocktail with a "crab/lobster" mix that is just mashed together w a kind of salsa mixed in...the "dips" provided are a crappy ranch dressing and a knock off of Franks red hot...very disappointing
They replaced the Morton's salad w a "chopped" salad that isn't very good
The lobster bisque and they shrimp side were both good
My steak...which was ordered "medium" came out "very well done" w no red or pink in the center. I did ask for it to be redone...and the redone one was good (but I got it after the rest of my party was done eating).
This used to be a favorite...but I won't return

My husband and I were looking for a good steakhouse for our anniversary and this place was the best !We didn’t make reservations but our hostess Jasmine was so sweet and went above and beyond to seat us right away, and our waiter Korey was so attentive and on top of all of our needs. Definitely coming back here , highly recommend !!

I hadn’t eaten at Morton’s since the early 2000s, before Landry’s bought the chain. Back then the place was a traditional steak house, with Sinatra music, high quality waiters, leather booths, and immense portions of top notch food.
Since the acquisition by Landry’s, the place looks like an airport lounge, the music was just bad, the waiters looked weird and were obviously not the same highly trained servers. Some of the food was great, but the sides were much smaller than the pre acquisition Morton’s, less tasty and the steak was thin, small and unimpressive.
Mergers, especially in restaurants, rarely improve the dining experience. This place is not as good as it used to be, and for the price-$150/person, with no drinks, it is not worth the cost.

Some dinners are just dinner. This one felt like a proper culinary event.
Morton’s hosted a “Taste of Two Legends” wine dinner featuring pairings from Napa and South America, and the evening was executed beautifully from start to finish. The opening crab with grapefruit and avocado was fresh, bright, and clean — a perfect way to start the night with Sauvignon Blanc. The baked brie tart with wild thyme honey and apricot jam was rich and indulgent without being overwhelming.
The herb-crusted lamb chop with cauliflower purée and cherry jus was outstanding, and the Merlot and Malbec pairing showed how well those wines can play with lamb when done right.
But the highlight of the evening was the prime New York strip with duchesse potatoes and black truffle crema. While Napa Cabernet certainly showed well, the Chilean Cabernet from Maipo Valley ended up stealing the spotlight — balanced, elegant, and absolutely perfect with the steak.
Dessert finished the night with salted caramel crunch cake and a beautifully sweet Muscat from Málaga.
Great food, thoughtful wine pairings, attentive service, and a room full of people clearly enjoying themselves. Nights like this remind you why wine dinners can still be something special.
Would absolutely do it again.
