I let the black dude finish his stocking.... rather then helping me real quick he goes into the cooler.... 15 minutes later still hasn't left the cooler so I just leave grab a drink and go to a different store where I know I will get the help I need. I have worked meat department in La Jolla Vons for 5 years..... I was trained to take care of who is at the display case before finishing the rest of my duties.... I'm not sure if this guy has a issue with helping customers or isn't trained right.... but management needs to have a talk with him because I refuse to get meat then that employee is clocked in.

- ESErika SolteroOct 31, 20251.0I’m a caregiver I come here with the lady I care for she loves the four square brownies with peanuts on top but it’s been over a month that every time we go they never have them so we ask workers from the bakery about them and they always give us excuses. The last time we were there the worker made the excuse that they had just got a new shipment and that it would take her over an hour to cutt three the boxes and look for the brownies we told her we would wait since we just started to do the grocery shopping and then she told us she wouldn’t be able to and said for us to call next time and walked away. So the lady I cared for called and asked for the brownies they told her they would have to check and call her back and they never did terrible customer service and the reason I could say that is cuz I went to a different Vons and they were so nice they didn’t have any out but the worker stopped what she was doing just to bake some and she told me if ever there was something I wanted and it wasn’t out there to ask her and she would gladly make them

In recent months, I’ve noticed things have not been up to par. The freezers and coolers have been warm at least twice. Like. warm enough that the product should’ve been pulled, but I know that’s not what happened in the freezer section. I could tell that things had thawed and then been refrozen (I only know that because I have been manager of the frozen foods department at another store). When I said something to one of the managers at checkout, she said she was aware and they were working on it. I was met with a nonchalant response like she couldn’t be bothered. She didn’t even look at me. I haven’t been back inside the store since. I’ll drive the extra 10 or 15 minutes to Ralph’s because if that’s how a manager is responding to situations, I don’t expect the associates to be any better, and if the associates don’t care about the customer experience, you certainly can’t trust that anyone will care about the product.
