  Tuesday 2/12/26 9:40pm. Horrible service and experience with the older male checkout clerk. . Ask him for help with the app grabbing a digital coupon. I had taken a picture of the item and digital bar code. Showed it to him for help. He said to go to the front door a get the paper with weekly deals. I brought it back asked if he could find it for me, thinking a clerk would know their ad paper and where to locate it. He said I’d need to find it and cut it out. He was worthless as a customer service and checkout clerk at Vons. I started going to this Vons 8 years ago after moving into the area. Over the years 4 individuals have mentioned how horrible their experience was with this clerk. Others have also complained above his lack of service, and Vons has yet to fire him.

  Shopping early morning looking for Cherries which had not been put out yet. Asked Charles who mentioned they will be out soon. I said thanks and walked away, only to have him track me down 2 isles down with a bag of cherries in his hand. Made my day. Thank you, Charles!

  This Vons grocery store has one of the biggest wine and alcohol selections. They literally carry almost anything including my favorite Pinot Noir Rancho Las Hermanas for $50.99 per bottle which is about market price.

  I experienced a disturbing level of unprofessionalism at this Vons location today (Wed. Jan 28th 2026, shortly after 5:00 PM). This was not merely poor service; it was a total failure of management oversight and basic professional standards. I arrived to pick up a pre-paid order. The pickup area was chaotic, and staff appeared to be searching for a lost package. I was ignored for an extended period. When I finally engaged with the staff, they were dismissive, refused to give their names when asked, and eventually walked away while I was still speaking to them. I sought out the store manager (I believe his name was John, but I'm not sure) hoping for a resolution. Instead of helping, he immediately became combative. He incorrectly insisted this was a "DoorDash issue," despite it being a direct Vons order. When I attempted to explain that my concern was not just the wait, but the hostile attitude of his staff, the manager became angry. Rather than fulfilling the order I had already paid for or addressing my concerns, he ordered me to leave. When I stated I would not leave without the goods I paid for, he had security escort me out. When I told him that I would be filing a formal complaint regarding the treatment I received, he dismissively told me to 'do whatever you want', showing a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction or even company reputation. Because the manager created such a hostile and intimidating environment by involving security, I did not feel safe re-entering the property. I was forced to call customer service to cancel the order myself, as the store refused to fulfill the transaction for which I had already paid. As a local customer, being met with such hostility and having a paid order withheld is completely unacceptable. To involve security over a civil request for service is a massive overreach. I have already contacted corporate customer service and will be following up with to ensure this manager is held accountable. This location requires immediate intervention regarding their customer service protocols and management training.

  what is going on with the RB Vons? Customer Service is Dead. I was trying to use the self check out for two items tonight. One had a digiral coupon, which of course I couldn't get to inside of store. The other was no ringing up properly. I look around for ANYONE to help, as the store was not busy, but the girl that was supposed to be working the self service was chatting and bagging for one of the two clerks working registers. When I asked for help, I get a rude "I will be right with you" and she kept on chatting and bagging. Then I leave the self service to go through a register. Then I guy at the register tells me that I need to go get a flyer from the front of the store to scan my coupons. Why he didnt have one at the register is beyond me. We then cannot find one of the items listed on their flyer and the other item should have just scanned properly. The register guy was clueless, the gal who was supposed to be helping self check out was STILL bagging. I finally just said, forget it. Im GOING to BARONS, which I did. I paid 49 cents more for less hassle and a cheerful staff member. Will kerp going to BARONS. Vons has gone downhill.
