Also the last few weeks there has been business activity which is understandable. However this includes a tendancy by the business workers to be discussing conversations in a loud, sociable manner and it borders on unprofessional and rude. For example I heard someone loudly say to another individual 'you finally showed up'. Man stocking Pepsi had Bluetooth and having conversation on his phone the entire time. Or you will hear them discussing personal matters or interstore politics. It makes me feel that the shopping experience is not relaxing plus makes me feel like I'm in their way. This has been something I've never observed at any other vons stores. Very strange atmosphere. When I'm paying nine dollars for a stack of paper plates I sort of expect the employees to be acting like they are working. Maybe I'm missing some aspect of grocery store organization.
