We had Berto as our waiter and he was so kind and wonderful while he took care of our every request. Then we had the pleasure of having Scott, a staff member who has been with them since the opening in the '90s, come and bring us our food. He was very lovely and told us that we were such a beautiful family and that we embodied the exact mission of creating a relaxed atmosphere for families to come and enjoy their weekends together. He was very kind and me and my husband were both very struck by his words and kindness and his dedication to service.
Thank you for making our outing such a special memory and for the very delicious food that you always serve!

We waited for about 30 min to get starters, which wasn't that bad, but then proceeded to wait almost 2 HOURS for our main dish. When we got the food, the fish tacos were, as I was told, very bland for the amount of stuff on them. I got the kobe burger, and it was bland and a little too charred in a few spots for me.

I attended a fundraising Gala there. The room was beautifully decorated and the staff was so helpful and friendly throughout our entire event. The food was delicious and elegant.

Prado is a bit of a more elegant type dining experience. The menu was had plenty of excellent Californian cuisine options; I had the Chefs cut steak with mashed potatoes, broccoli, & added a shrimp skewer.
The meal was delicious, but this one is on the pricier side at ~$60-$80 per person without adding on any alcoholic drinks (I had water only).
It was nice that Prado was so near the museums, etc & Balboa Park, it made for a nice evening walk and dinner after a long day.
I should emphasize that the wait staff was extremely attentive and courteous, well done!

We visited the Prado for lunch on a Thursday. We opted to make a reservation through Open Table, but there were still plenty of empty tables.
We ended up ordering two appetizers (chicken pot stickers and cauliflower). Everyone at the table enjoyed both of the appetizers. My husband and I ordered mixed drinks. Both drinks were good but small and didn't have much alcohol given the price.
The kids got kids meals (good value for the price). My husband enjoyed his meal and my arugula salad was tasty.
Our waitress (Brie) was super. Friendly, attentive, and helpful with menu recommendations.
Overall a fun meal in a great atmosphere!
