  The food here is excellent! In fact the food is so flavorful that I had lunch here with a co-worker and ended up buying a bunch more to take home for dinner. The shahi paneer and the bullet naan were terrific!!!

  Extremely delicious food!!! I’m a local and this is my families new favorite spot. The butter chicken, soups, naan and samosas are on point. There is plenty of seating for large groups. Kaei & Mandal provided great service and were very welcoming!

  Solid food and their non-dairy items are well done! Better than the majority of Indian-style food we’ve had in San Diego and portions are great. It’s a staple for us now

  The food was okay, I’ve definitely had more flavor Indian food before. However, it gets the job done and for a fair price I would say. My issue with this place was the weird behavior and uncomfortable service given by the staff. My friend and I arrived around 4ish and everything was going good. We were sat down immediately because of the restaurant being completely empty and got our order taken in a timely manner. The attitude started when they were taking my friend’s order. Our server was mumbling and very quiet so my friend couldn’t hear what he was asking her. When she questioned him he got visibly annoyed and was clearly irritated because he had to repeat himself. We got our food and it was okay but the whole time we were there we kept getting stared at by the group of male staff from the register. It was weird since they were all standing there awkwardly watching to see our next move. This was happening the whole time since we got there by the way. When my friend I begin wrapping it up, she went up to go pay first since she was done eating but I wasn’t done and sat there about another 15 minutes. Our server then came up to us and told me how I can go pay and that my friend already payed so I just have to pay my other half since we split the bill. As if I don’t watch her myself to go pay lol. We thought maybe they were rushing us because they had to close soon and no one was there but we checked and the time was around 5:15 and they didn’t close till 9:00. It felt like we were being rushed to exit or that they thought we wouldn’t pay the rest of our bill for whatever reason. The whole experience was just uncomfortable as my friend and I didn’t like being stared at the whole time, rushed, and given attitude. We enjoy trying new Indian food places so we were excited to see what this place was about and it’s safe to say we will not be coming back.

  Food was perfectly spiced. Chicken Chettinad. Things are expensive these days so I understand the price point. Good amount of food, well flavored, came with rice. Some places come with some naan. I think that would be a nice touch but nothing to complain about.
