Dining at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is always a luxurious experience. From the moment you're seated, everything feels elevated — from the warm, upscale ambiance to the professional and attentive service that never feels rushed. The steaks are, of course, the stars of the show — perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Whether you order a filet mignon, ribeye, or New York strip, the quality is consistent and top-tier. Pair it with one of their rich sides (the truffle mashed potatoes and lobster mac & cheese are a must!) for the full experience. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, offering something for every palate, and the servers are knowledgeable when it comes to pairing recommendations. The cocktail menu is equally impressive if you're in the mood for something mixed. Whether it’s a romantic date night, a business dinner, or a special celebration, Fleming’s delivers on every front — elegant, flavorful, and unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine dining done right.

ASK FOR QUAN! When we made it to our 9pm reservation (at 905), we were seated by 909pm. We weren't seen to until 917pm. When quan walked over and saw that we weren't seen to yet, he made it his top priority to make up for the minor delay. He literally saved the day! All of his recommendations were tip notch! He is very knowledgeable, respectful, delightful, kind and considerate!. The short rib was to die for! The lava cake was amazing! The sea bass was very unique and the flavor profile went very well!. The asparagus could have been seasoned better but still delicious. The Brussel sprouts were really good! Eat the more crispy ones first!. Will visit again! Thanks for a great time. Made our 3yr anniversary much worth

We went to Fleming's downtown to celebrate my birthday. I've never eaten at a "Prime" steakhouse before, so my nephew decided to take me. He's eaten at the Fleming's in Fontana, California and had an excellent dining experience. We ordered the calamari appetizer. I ordered a Caesar salad, the 20 oz bone-in ribeye, mediumrare, and added on a lobster tail. My nephew ordered the tomahawk ribeye, medium-rare, with an add-on lobster tail, and Fleming potatoes. The calamari appetizer was phenomenal. My caesar salad was good and my ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, but I was surprised that It wasn't really flavourful or very tender like I imagined a "Prime" steakhouse would be. Honestly, the 20 oz ribeye I had at The Texas Roadhouse a few weeks ago was much more tender and flavorful. Now let's talk about the worst part of my meal. The lobster tail. They said it was a 6 to 7 oz tail. It was more like a 3 oz tail that they had cooked 2 hours before, left it out for another hour, put it on top of a old shell, reheated it under the broiler, and served it to me. It was so dry and stringy with absolutely no moisture whatsoever. It's the worst lobster tail that I've had in my entire life. And it's my tradition to eat lobster several times during my birthday month. I should have sent it back but that wasn't the worst part of our meal. Now let's talk about my nephew's Tomahawk steak. It came out and it was not a medium-rare. It was more like rare. Actually, it was blue, so we sent it back. They tried to fix it, but it came back flavorless and dry. Our server, Josh, who was outstanding by the way, noticed something was still wrong and said, "Let me bring you a different steak, what do you want?" I told him to bring him a bone-in ribeye like mine. It came fairly quickly, was cooked to a medium-rare, but it was very chewy. You could tell that they didn't let it rest before they served it. Once again, Josh noticed he wasn't satisfied with his steak, so they ended up comping his ribeye and one of the lobster tails. We ordered the crème brûlée for dessert. Neither of us had ever had it before, and OMG, it was fabulous. So our dinner started and ended on a good note. The quality of the food in between was more than disappointing. Sadly, will never be back to the Fleming's in downtown San Diego. The lobster was a 1 out of 10, the steaks were a 6 out of 10, but the service from Josh was a 10 out of 10.
