Amazing Sunday brunch experience!
The flavor and the atmosphere brought me back to the years I lived in Mexico City. The Chilaquiles were spectacular. I did t eat the burrito, but was told that it was also amazing. Definitely hit this spot if you're craving great Mexican food, not CalMex, but Mexican 😁

There’s a Mexican rule that says you should never try Mexican food outside Mexico, but El Comal in North Park is the exception. The dishes here truly capture authentic Mexican flavor.
We ordered the pozole, and although the hominy could use a bit more of that chewy consistency you find back home, the taste was rich and traditional. The tampiqueña was delicious, perfectly seasoned, and satisfying. The nopal salad could use just a touch more Mexican spice, but overall everything was very good.
The service was outstanding, friendly, and attentive. And a special mention goes to the agua de horchata, an absolute delight.
