  I'm not sure if this place hates online orders or what but every time I come here there's a line of 3 people at order pickup and 6 employees behind the counter completely ignoring them not doing anything else

  Burnt bagel! I’m writing to share a disappointing experience I had during my recent visit. I ordered an extra-toasted bagel and clearly specified that I wanted it “dark brown.” Unfortunately, what I received was completely burnt. There’s a big difference between “extra toasted” and “burnt,” and it was not what I asked for. When I politely addressed the issue, the staff member who prepared the bagel was dismissive rather than helpful. As a customer, I expect food to be prepared as requested and for staff to handle concerns professionally. Einstein Bagels is in the business of both food and service, and both should be priorities. I kindly request that management provide additional training to ensure that orders are prepared accurately and that customer interactions remain courteous. Customers work hard for their money, and it’s reasonable to expect the product to match the order placed. I hope this feedback leads to improvements, as I generally enjoy visiting this location and would like to continue doing so.

  Really kind, patient, and helpful staff. We had a food allergy mixup (my error) and the staff went above and beyond to help my son be able to enjoy his order safely. So appreciate their outstanding service, and will definitely be back soon!

  I ordered the Garden Avocado sandwich with a cranberry bagel through the website set for a specific pickup time. When I got there, they told me they were out of cranberry bagels so I got a different kind and had to wait for them to make my order. Grabbed the bag, checked the receipt (it had my name and order on there) and when I got home and opened up the sandwich, it was not even close to what I ordered. It was an egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich. I’m vegetarian and I don’t like cheese so I couldn’t even eat it. Waste of money.

  Stopped in for bagel sandwiches today and sadly this will probably be the last time. Yes, there was a large soccer team ordering ahead of us so we understood we would need to wait for the food. No problem. The woman taking the order seemed annoyed to be taking our order in the first place. I ordered a sandwich with 2 egg whites on an everything bagel. She told me they were out of everything bagels. The big group was blocking the glass bagel case so I asked her if they had wheat. She seemed irritated to check from the back. After we paid I saw the receipt didn’t say egg whites and it also only had 1 egg listed. I asked her if she put egg whites and she said she didn’t. She didn’t offer to fix it so I had to ask. I felt asking for 2 eggs at this point would just throw her over the edge so I decided to be ok with 1. We waited a long time, which again we expected. Finally when our order came up (which by that time they had PLENTY of everything bagels), I asked the woman if the sandwich had egg whites. SHE SAID YES. I should have checked it there but I figured she would not have said that bc she just made it. When I got to the car I opened the bag up and, surprise, no egg whites. I went back in and at least one person behind the counter saw me place the bag on the counter and say excuse me, but I was ignored. When I finally got someone’s attention, by yelling, and told them what happened, I just got eye rolls. They did fix it but with no apology. They were not even nice about it. Is this an awful place to work or something? Whoever manages this place should have a convo with the employees. I have spent lots of time working in food service in my life and I would never have treated a customer like this. Save yourself the awful time and go to Parakeet across the street. They are super nice over there.
